2018 - Initial Research

Spectrum Antimicrobials founded by Hoji Alimi to address the urgent global need for effective antimicrobial solutions. Initial research focused on developing proprietary HOCl-based chemistries with enhanced stability and efficacy.​

2019 - GMP Manufacturing Facility​

Established FDA-registered 14,000 sq. ft. cGMP manufacturing headquarters in Petaluma, California, with advanced bottling capabilities producing 20,000+ units per hour.​

2020-2021 - Regulatory Approvals​

Achieved FDA 510(k) clearance for Spectricept® Skin & Wound Cleanser and CE Mark approval for hand sanitizer formulation. Independent laboratory validation confirmed superior efficacy against C. difficile spores and biofilms.​

2022 - International Partnerships​

Licensed SPX-001 to SpectrumX for UK and European markets. Established partnership with Triumph Medical Services for Vetricept distribution in the United States, expanding global reach of innovative infection control solutions.​

2023-2024 - Pipeline Expansion​

Advanced SPX-001 development for pulmonary infections with proven efficacy in presence of serum and mucus. Expanded R&D operations in San Diego focusing on novel antimicrobial platforms targeting antibiotic-resistant pathogens.​
